A BIT ABOUT WHO WE ARE

One of the many things that bound us together was our love for food. We found joy in cooking and exploring different tastes and ideas. We decided to start this company in order to share some of our favourite flavours in the soups and stews we packaged in lunch-sized to-go jars.

We have always been passionate about good food with good ingredients. We keep our dirty dozen clean and work hard to run a low-waste company.

We build on a foundation of house-made broths.

These give our soups and stews a richness and complexity to their flavours.

We use are own traditional recipe to make our vegetable broth and we work hard to bring out the most flavour out of our ingredients.

Our bone broths are made with bones from a local Ontario farm that are pasture-raised and 100% life-time grass-fed.

We keep our dirty dozen clean.

We understand the importance of organic foods for our health and the environment so we make sure to keep the ingredients that made the EWG’s 2021 Shopper’s Guide to Pesticides in Produce™ list of the foods that contain the highest traces of pesticide (dirty dozen) organic.

We love our farmers.

When we buy our ingredients we look home first. We partner up with suppliers like 100km Foods and Wilderness Ranch to ensure we are supporting our local Ontario Farms. Not only does this help our community and environment, it tastes SO much better.

If we are off- season for some ingredients and cannot find them locally, we knock on our neighbours’ door.
